We want to increase local demand for South African produced tobacco leaf and believes that all processors and manufacturers should “buy South Africa”.

South Africa imports almost 1 170 tonnes worth of foreign tobacco leaf every year, product that can and should be produced locally. If this tobacco was produced locally, it could potentially support an extra 780 farming jobs for our members.
