The tobacco leaf farming sector encourages young farmers to start their own operations by accessing programmes which stimulate economic growth, support transformation and facilitate social inclusion.

INVEST IN TRANSFORMATION

Our members are working with local communities to enhance small and family-run farms to ensure successful rural development in the provinces. They provide training and mentorship programs to ensure that tobacco leaf farmers are equipped with the skills to work the land in a sustainable manner.

Our members’ efforts and work impact positively the local community and helping them to prosper. However, we believe additional investment is needed in emerging farmers programmes and that the Government should create an enabling environment for investment to take place.
